The groupings for the Memorial Trophy league also Monday Evening Triples League details, playing schedule and rules also now up in Members Section     Worthing Pavilion claimed a thrilling 30 - 28 win over Victory from Portsmouth in the National Over 60's Double Rink. The Home Rink of John Westlake, Mervyn Hilton, Jim Davis and John Frew were behind for most of the match but managed to keep the game tight only losing 13 - 14. The away rink of Howard Gates, Arthur White, Bill Murphy and Alan Vidler claimed a great victory to win 17 - 14 to ensure the win for Pavilion who play Palmerston from Gosport in the next round.. WPBC men produced a strong all round performance to beat Palmerston from Gosport 66 - 58 in the Denny Cup. WPBC won on all four rinks in a game that was closely contested throughout. WPBC play Chawton Park from Basingstoke in the next round     Worthing Pavilion made a hesitant start to their County League campaign with a 100 - 110 lost to local rivals Worthing. Pavilion got off to a slow start and were at one stage 28 shots behind but rallied well to close to within 5 shots but could not get the vital shots to secure a win. Pavilion's top rink was Howard Gates, Mervyn Hilton ,John Frew and Richard Dray who won 24 - 11     On Tuesday 17th October the WPBC Ladies played at Horsham in a League game. They won 8.5 points with a score of 78-74, wins on 2 rinks and a draw on 1. The WPBC Top Rink was Pat Edmonds, Barbara Higham, Carol Tillett and Esme Clough, who secured the game on the final end with two magnificent shots. On Sunday 22nd October WPBC Ladies played the Yetton Trophy against Denton Island unfortunately lost by 11 points. WPBC’s only winning Rink of Pat Edmonds, Carol Tillett, Marlene Hancock and Jean Garwood won 19-14. WPBC are now in the Yetton Plate Competition on 5th November playing against Preston

Our Bowling Club offers a friendly atmosphere, good food with indoor  rinks and some of the best outdoor lawn bowling greens

Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club welcomes new members so come and try bowls. We provide flat -green bowls both indoors and outdoors. If you have never bowled or want to develop your bowling skills further we have 4 level 1,7 level 2 and 2 level 3 Bowls England approved coaches to assist you. We welcome all: the young, the not so young. Come and see our facilities meet the friendly members and join the club. We have a well-stocked bar and very good catering & Bar facility  join us  and sample the friendly atmosphere in our comfortable club house situated in a pleasant oasis of green close to the town centre. Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club is open all year except for Christmas Holidays and New Year’s Day.

For those adults who are new to bowling, coaching is available.  Inexperienced bowlers join the Club as Associate Members   for which a fee is paid.  Two, 2 hour coaching sessions are arranged, at the conclusion of which the Associate Member can then join the club if the member joins the Club, they will then be eligible for further 3 lessons at no extra cost.This Club offers all year round bowling to all ages above the age of ten and for all abilities. For those juniors who are new to bowling, coaching is available.  Inexperienced bowlers join the Club as  Junior Associate Member for which a fee is paid . For a maximum of Five two hour coaching sessions are usually on a Sunday Morning, from 10.00 am to 12 noon at the conclusion of which the Junior  Associate Member is then offered Junior membership if they wish to join the Club,
