The Secretary has requested Club members to complete and return the Refurbishment Survey without delay and no later than 30th October.    WPBC touring club members there is an update to the details of the 2019 Jersey trip in the members section under Touring Club      Worthing Pavilion continued their successful weekend with a 4 – 1 over Wey Valley in the National Top Team on Sunday. Simon Davey and Linda Farley started the ball rolling winning their 2 wood singles. Simon winning 21 – 14 and Linda 21 – 12. Pavilion also won the Pairs with Sharon Pratt and Mark Strong winning 18 – 8 and the Fours with Linn Chant, Hannah Down, Bill Murphy and Gavin Beven winning 17 – 11. Pavilion’s only loss was the Triple of Pat Edmunds, Arthur White and John Frew who went down 10 – 21 Pavilion play Victory in the next round     On Sunday a mixed team from WPBC played a team from Victory from Portsmouth . WPBC scored 102 to Victory's 95 WPBC won on three rinks

  
Worthing Pavilion enjoyed success in the National Over 60’s Double Rink on Monday winning 41 – 23 against Arun. The home rink, which had to change at the last minute due to Dave Thomas being taken ill with Chris Scott coming in with Jeremy Simpson, Barry Evans and Colin Brown, did well to hold a strong Arun rink to a 3 shot deficit but the away rink of Ray Leggett, Arthur White, Bill Murphy and John Frew proved to be too strong for the Arun team and ran out impressive 28 – 9 winners. Pavilion play Eastbourne in the next round     Worthing Pavilion's Hayden Clarke,15, produced an outstanding performance at the National quarterfinals of the EIBA Youth Development Skills Championships at Melton Mowbray on Sunday. Having already come through qualifying competitions in Sussex and at regional finals, Hayden was one of just 5 young bowlers from the ages of 8 - 16 who qualified from the region. In a tough set of skills Hayden ended up 10th out of the final 16      Worthing Pavilion progressed to the 2nd round of the Denny Cup with an 87 – 59 win over Palmerston on Saturday with Pavilion winning on 3 rinks The top rink was Alan Muzzell, John Winkley, Ray Leggett and Gavin Beven who won at home 27 - 9     The match menus are now up for Meal Matches up to Saturday 27th October are on the club web site under catering

WORTHING PAVILION BOWLING CLUB LIMITED

Our Bowling Club offers a friendly atmosphere, good food with indoor  rinks and some of the best outdoor lawn bowling greens. Bowl all the year round at  the one  club the only club in Worthing with these facilities.

Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club welcomes new members so come and try bowls. We provide flat -green bowls both indoors and outdoors. If you have never bowled or want to develop your bowling skills further. We have 10 coaches English Bowls Coaching Society approved at different levels; level 1, level 2 and  level 3 to assist you. We welcome all: the young, the not so young. Come and see our facilities meet the friendly members and join the club. We have a well-stocked bar and very good catering & Bar facility  join us  and sample the friendly atmosphere in our comfortable club house situated in a pleasant oasis of green close to the town centre. Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club is open all year except for Christmas Holidays and New Year’s Day.

For those adults who are new to bowling, coaching is available.  Inexperienced bowlers join the Club as Associate Members   for which a fee is paid.  Two, 2 hour coaching sessions are arranged, at the conclusion of which the Associate Member can then join the club if the member joins the Club, they will then be eligible for further 3 lessons at no extra cost.This Club offers all year round bowling to all ages above the age of ten and for all abilities. For those juniors who are new to bowling, coaching is available.  Inexperienced bowlers join the Club as  Junior Associate Member for which a fee is paid . For a maximum of Five two hour coaching sessions are usually on a Sunday Morning, from 10.00 am to 12 noon at the conclusion of which the Junior  Associate Member is then offered Junior membership if they wish to join the Club,
