MEMORIAL PLAY OFF DETAILS CAN BE FOUND ON THE RESULTS PAGE UNDER MEN'S INDOOR COMPETITION RESULTS     Worthing Pavilion suffered their first league defeat of 2017 and with it their hope of lifting a first league title when they went down 107 – 124 away at Egerton Park on Saturday. After making a slow start they were never able to challenge Egerton who claimed the league title by picking up 9 points to Pavilion’s 2. Pavilion finish their league season with a home game against Eastbourne on Sunday Worthing Pavilion’s last league game came to a disappointing end with a 124 – 124 draw against Eastbourne. Pavilion started well enough and established a 30 shot lead but fell away and in the end were fortunate to end up with a draw and only claimed 5 points to Eastbourne’s 6 and will probably end up with 3rd place in the League. Still our best ever finish but disappointing given we had a chance to win the league before the 2 weekend games. Still a great season overall and something to build on for next year. Thanks for all the support from the squad, Club President, Bennie Bennett, and Team Selector Arthur White. Your support is greatly appreciated. John Frew Team Manager     Sunday 19th Pavilion ladies fours of Linda Farley, Julie Woods, Marina Crayston and Esme Clough lost 23-14 at Egerton park in the county quarter finals.
