James Brennan is through to the semi final of the County U25 Singles after beating Reece Tugwell 21 – 14. He will play C. Phillimore in the semi Finals. Hayden Clarke will play Ajay Morphett in the other semi-final after walk over in the quarter finals     On Saturday .Julie Woods and Jackie Pearson of WPBC won their pairs comp at Egerton Park In a thrilling match where WPBC led through most of the match EP drew level on the 21st end forcing an extra end. With her last wood Jackie drew the winning shot to leave the score at 17-16 !! also on Saturday WPBC lady Linda Farley won her away 2nd round county unbadged singles match against J Ward of King Alfred 21-14    Worthing Pavilion continued their good form in the County League with an emphatic 127 – 101 win over Grattons on Saturday. Missing a number of regular league players Pavilion still won on 5 rinks to secure 10 points and remain in contention to win the league. The rink of John Westlake, John Winkley, Arthur White and Richard Dray did the damage with a 27 – 9 win. Pavilion play Eastbourne next week

 
It is with much regret that the Directors have to announce the death of Bill Carroll on the 7th of February . The funeral arrangements are as follows; TUESDAY 28th FEBRUARY at 1.20 at Worthing Crematorium. All members are warmly invited to the service and afterwards back at the club.

Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club welcomes new members so come and try bowls. We provide flat -green bowls both indoors and outdoors. If you have never bowled or want to develop your bowling skills further we have 4 level 1,7 level 2 and 2 level 3 Bowls England approved coaches to assist you. We welcome all: the young, the not so young. Come and see our facilities meet the friendly members and join the club. We have a well-stocked bar and very good catering & Bar facility  join us  and sample the friendly atmosphere in our comfortable club house situated in a pleasant oasis of green close to the town centre. Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club is open all year except for Christmas Holidays and New Year’s Day.

For those adults who are new to bowling, coaching is available.  Inexperienced bowlers join the Club as Associate Members   for which a fee is paid.  Two, 2 hour coaching sessions are arranged, at the conclusion of which the Associate Member can then join the club if the member joins the Club, they will then be eligible for further 3 lessons at no extra cost.This Club offers all year round bowling to all ages above the age of ten and for all abilities. For those juniors who are new to bowling, coaching is available.  Inexperienced bowlers join the Club as  Junior Associate Member for which a fee is paid . For a maximum of Five two hour coaching sessions are usually on a Sunday Morning, from 10.00 am to 12 noon at the conclusion of which the Junior  Associate Member is then offered Junior membership if they wish to join the Club,
