WPBC Ladies won their quarter final on Saturday the County Badged Triples. Pat Edmonds, Linda Farley & Sharon Pratt won 22-6 against Arun in the Ladies County Badged Triples to secure a place in the semi final against Horsham on 31 March at Worthing Pavilion.    It is with the deepest of regrets that the Directors have been informed of the death of our member Dennis Wheatley on the 5th February . The funeral service will take place at 12.00 noon on the Tuesday 26th of February at the Gordon Chapel ,Sompting Road BN14 9EP Our deepest sympathy is extended to Dennis’s family at this sad time.    WPBC Ladies team of Pat Edmonds, Linda Farley, Hannah Down and Sharon Pratt have reached the National Ladies 4s Sussex zone final against Arun. This will be played on a neutral green at Horsham on Saturday 9th March 10am.     For members and visitors; With effect from 15/01/2019:  card payments are being accepted for bar payments. There is a minimum spend of £5 and we are not offering any cashback facility.

  
In the mixed four of Linda Farley, Hanna Down, Steve Ireland and Andy Clarke won the area semi-final 23-19 against Adur in the London and Southern Counties. They are through to the final to be played at Watford    EBYDS County Finals - Horsham IBC - 10th February 2019 The top girl in the singles was Treana Smith (Worthing Pavilion BC) with a shot difference of +17. Treana won it for the second year running. In the assorted skills here was a tie between Treana Smith (Worthing Pavilion BC) and Evelyn Urwin-Wright (Worthing Pavilion BC) both on 29pts. Overall Champion of the Juniors with 70pts was Freddie Cable (of Eastbourne) beating Treana Smith by 11pts In the Seniors skills girl power came to the fore again with Hannah Maslen (Grattons IBC) beating the nearest boy, Hayden Clarke (Worthing Pavilion BC) by a single point with 49pts. Hannah Maslen, Hayden Clarke, Freddie Cable and Treana Smith will now go forward to the Regional Finals at Horsham IBC on Sunday 14th April where we wish them the best of luck in attempting to reach the National Finals.     James Brennan of WPBC is through to County U25 singles final after a 21-7 win against Kieran Jay from Egerton Park. WORTHING PAVILION BOWLING CLUB LIMITED

Our Bowling Club offers a friendly atmosphere, good food with indoor  rinks and some of the best outdoor lawn bowling greens. Bowl all the year round at  the one  club the only club in Worthing with these facilities.

Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club welcomes new members so come and try bowls. We provide flat -green bowls both indoors and outdoors. If you have never bowled or want to develop your bowling skills further. We have 10 coaches English Bowls Coaching Society approved at different levels; level 1, level 2 and  level 3 to assist you. We welcome all: the young, the not so young. Come and see our facilities meet the friendly members and join the club. We have a well-stocked bar and very good catering & Bar facility  join us  and sample the friendly atmosphere in our comfortable club house situated in a pleasant oasis of green close to the town centre. Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club is open all year except for Christmas Holidays and New Year’s Day.

For those adults who are new to bowling, coaching is available.  Inexperienced bowlers join the Club as Associate Members   for which a fee is paid.  Two, 2 hour coaching sessions are arranged, at the conclusion of which the Associate Member can then join the club if the member joins the Club, they will then be eligible for further 3 lessons at no extra cost.This Club offers all year round bowling to all ages above the age of ten and for all abilities. For those juniors who are new to bowling, coaching is available.  Inexperienced bowlers join the Club as  Junior Associate Member for which a fee is paid . For a maximum of Five two hour coaching sessions are usually on a Sunday Morning, from 10.00 am to 12 noon at the conclusion of which the Junior  Associate Member is then offered Junior membership if they wish to join the Club,
The club dining room can be booked for private functions (seats approx 36 persons) also the club lounge seating another 60-80 people according whether you want to use the dance square in the middle of the lounge.
