Worthing Pavilion progressed to the 3rd round of the Denny Memorial Trophy with a 46 – 29 win over Adur on Wednesday evening. The home rink of Alan Muzzell, John Winkley, John Frew and Andy Clarke recovered from a 9 – 16 deficit to win 18 – 16 but the away rink of Simon Davey, Rob Taylor, Alex Paine and Mark Strong did the damage with a 28 – 13 win. WPBC picked up 3 points from 3 winning rinks skipped by Jacky Pearson, June Lewis and Sharon Pratt. Last week wPBC ladies played Worthing Indoor in the league winning 94 to 71 shots and picked up 9.5 points     Worthing Pavilion had mixed fortunes with their games over the weekend. After suffering a heavy defeat in the London & Southern Counties Challenge Shield to Victory they bounced back with an emphatic win over local rivals Worthing in the Sussex County League. Pavilion won on 5 rinks to win 135 – 84 to claim 7 points. WORTHING PAVILION BOWLING CLUB LIMITED

Our Bowling Club offers a friendly atmosphere, good food with indoor  rinks and some of the best outdoor lawn bowling greens. Bowl all the year round at  the one  club the only club in Worthing with these facilities.

Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club welcomes new members so come and try bowls. We provide flat -green bowls both indoors and outdoors. If you have never bowled or want to develop your bowling skills further. We have 10 coaches English Bowls Coaching Society approved at different levels; level 1, level 2 and  level 3 to assist you. We welcome all: the young, the not so young. Come and see our facilities meet the friendly members and join the club. We have a well-stocked bar and very good catering & Bar facility  join us  and sample the friendly atmosphere in our comfortable club house situated in a pleasant oasis of green close to the town centre. Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club is open all year except for Christmas Holidays and New Year’s Day.

For those adults who are new to bowling, coaching is available.  Inexperienced bowlers join the Club as Associate Members   for which a fee is paid.  Two, 2 hour coaching sessions are arranged, at the conclusion of which the Associate Member can then join the club if the member joins the Club, they will then be eligible for further 3 lessons at no extra cost.This Club offers all year round bowling to all ages above the age of ten and for all abilities. For those juniors who are new to bowling, coaching is available.  Inexperienced bowlers join the Club as  Junior Associate Member for which a fee is paid . For a maximum of Five two hour coaching sessions are usually on a Sunday Morning, from 10.00 am to 12 noon at the conclusion of which the Junior  Associate Member is then offered Junior membership if they wish to join the Club,
The club dining room can be booked for private functions (seats approx 36 persons) also the club lounge seating another 60-80 people according whether you want to use the dance square in the middle of the lounge.
