Worthing Pavilion bowed out of the London & Southern Counties Challenge Shield on Saturday going down 63 – 80 Egerton Park. Pavilion’s only winning rink was Colin Davey, Colin Brown, John Frew & Richard Dray who won 21 - 13

Worthing Pavilion Touring club new notices regarding both the Spring tour and the Summer tour are now up in the Members Section of the web on the Touring Club Page     Worthing Pavilion ladies played 2 league matches this week winning against Preston 84 -67, winning on four rinks, top rink Pat Edmonds, Margaret Marriott, Mary Stemp and June Lewis, but losing against Arun 104 to 72 winning on two rinks top rink, Ann Button, Marlene Hancock, Mary Stemp and Jacky Pearson. Three teams played in county competitions all progressing to the next round, Ann Button, Jacky Pearson and Carol Artley in the Unbaged triples, Linda Farley and Leah Taylor in the pairs and Pat Edmonds, Leah Taylor and Sharon Pratt in the badged triples     Worthing Pavilion continued their good form in Sussex County League Division 1 with a 144 – 96 win over Preston on Wednesday picking up 10 points. Pavilion won on 5 rinks out of the 6 but the top rink who set up the win were Ray Leggett, John Winkley, Arthur White and Alex Paine who won 49 - 6


Our Bowling Club offers a friendly atmosphere, good food with indoor  rinks and some of the best outdoor lawn bowling greens. Bowl all the year round at  the one  club the only club in Worthing with these facilities.

Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club welcomes new members so come and try bowls. We provide flat -green bowls both indoors and outdoors. If you have never bowled or want to develop your bowling skills further we have 4 level 1,7 level 2 and 2 level 3 Bowls England approved coaches to assist you. We welcome all: the young, the not so young. Come and see our facilities meet the friendly members and join the club. We have a well-stocked bar and very good catering & Bar facility  join us  and sample the friendly atmosphere in our comfortable club house situated in a pleasant oasis of green close to the town centre. Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club is open all year except for Christmas Holidays and New Year’s Day.

For those adults who are new to bowling, coaching is available.  Inexperienced bowlers join the Club as Associate Members   for which a fee is paid.  Two, 2 hour coaching sessions are arranged, at the conclusion of which the Associate Member can then join the club if the member joins the Club, they will then be eligible for further 3 lessons at no extra cost.This Club offers all year round bowling to all ages above the age of ten and for all abilities. For those juniors who are new to bowling, coaching is available.  Inexperienced bowlers join the Club as  Junior Associate Member for which a fee is paid . For a maximum of Five two hour coaching sessions are usually on a Sunday Morning, from 10.00 am to 12 noon at the conclusion of which the Junior  Associate Member is then offered Junior membership if they wish to join the Club,
